On 15 September 2016, the club recieved a letter from CRAM House expressing their thanks for the $1,000 donation the Sea Eels made.
The money was used to purchase a new mat for the Shower Trolley at one of the group homes. These mats cost $1,300 to purchase, so the club's $1,000 went to good use, and given these are used everyday the money has gone to a worthy cause.
The staff and residents at CRAM House enjoy their annual event with the club, and are very excited to attend and in the lead up to the day.
Visit the CRAM House Website to find out more about what they do or make a donation - http://cramfoundation.com.au/home

The Sea Eels conducted their annual championship at Coalcliff Rock Pool on 11 September 2016, a spectacular day for winter swimming. A slow start to the day, we thought we were going to be down on numbers with some pre-season surf club events impacting our attendance but all the regular members and a host of trophy hunters made up the numbers which resulted in some enjoyable competition.
