Passed 15 May 2026 Aged 80 years.

Michael joined Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Club in 1960 aged 14 years. Gained the Bronze Medallion two years later, 7 March 1962 in company with a number of other local boys - James (Jim) Powell, Richard Olgivie, Ian McManus, Frank Manning, William Burke, Peter Jones and Ed Clark.

Patrol Member for 20 years 1962 to 1982, in Andy McCabe’s patrol for some years, and then Associate Member and Long Service Member.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael’s funeral service to be held at H.Parsons Funeral Home, 278 Princes Highway Bulli on Tuesday 26th May 2026 at 12pm.Following the service his funeral will proceed to Helensburgh Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Helensburgh.
