Board Training is just around the corner. We will be kicking off the season in style at 2pm on Sunday the 13th of September 2020. Training will be at Coalcliff at this stage, as always we are dependant on conditions. Ages under 9 (DOB 1/10/2011 to 30/09/2012) and up are welcome.

A full season long training program has been put together by our Nippers Surf Coach and Education Officer. We have placed an emphasis on building on last years success and developing confidence and ability for the Nippers.

This year there are a few protocols and ticks in boxes that need to occur before any training can commence outside of the normal Sunday morning Nippers. The coaches and water safety have been hard at work preparing this season so please bear with me.

Each Nipper MUST be registered. Details of how to register this year has been the subject of previous posts.

Each Nipper will need to be marked as proficient. Proficiency testing will take place prior to all board training sessions for those nippers wishing to partake in board training.

Each Nipper must bring their own hi-vis Nippers vest. No vest No Train. Due to COVID regs the club will not provide any vests to those nippers that forget theirs. So please remember the hi-vis.

All nippers must sign in using the QR code which will be available at all training sessions. Those Nippers that have their own phones please sign in on their own devices. Those Nippers without a phone will need their parents/carer/lift giver to sign them in.

All water safety on hand will adhere to COVIDSAFE protocols. Sanitiser will be available and social distancing will be enforced when reasonably expected to do so.

That’s all the official side of things out the way. All we need now is the kids to turn up and start ripping in. The coaches are primed and the boards are freshly waxed.

See you on the 13th

The Inaugural HSP Nippers Leadership Camp is taking place from 8am on Friday the 24th January until 4pm on Saturday the 25th of January 2020 at Stanny...

We hope you had a great time at Twilight Nippers, we would love to know your thoughts on the afternoon.

Please take a couple of minutes to complete this quick survey.

The Program for the 2019/2020 Season is now available on-line

Our Presentation Day and Special General Meeting is soon approaching.

Nominations for the 2018/19 Nipper Season are now open.

A number of our key Committee Members are stepping down due their children onto the Senior Club as they attained their Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC).

The club does not run by itself. Instead it is run by a group of volunteers (parents) whose children like yours enjoys the sun, sand and surf and are our future lifesavers.

If you would like to make a difference why not join the committee. The committee meets once a month and it is a very casual affair. Let’s show the kids how important it is to give up a little bit of time to be a volunteer.

Please find attached the nomination forms that can be completed and returned the following ways. We would love to see some of our U6 and U7 families step up.

Nominations close at 6.00pm on Wednesday 28 March, 2018.

Completed nomination forms must be posted in a sealed envelope addressed to:

Returning Officer, Helensburgh-Stanwell Park SLSC, PO Box 111, Helensburgh 2508
