In 1924, the Metropolitan Coal Company donated a silver trophy to the Club named the “Captain Webb Memorial Cup” so named after a member of the Board of Directors of the Company. The Committee at the time decided that the Cup would be awarded to the best patrol each season and would record and acknowledge the names of the members of the winning patrol. The Cup continues to be awarded to the best performing patrol each season.
