CHANGE OF DATE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING TO 25 JULY 2026
On 29 May 2026, members were notified that the Annual General Meeting and election of Club Officers for the 2026/27 season would be held on Sunday 5 July 2026. As this date falls on the weekend prior to the commencement of the Winter School holidays, the Executive Committee has decided to defer the meeting till after the school holidays.
The AGM will now be held on Saturday 25 July 2026 commencing at 2.00pm. The meeting will be held on Saturday afternoon to avoid a clash with a winter swimming event at Bondi on the Sunday.
Please note - the following information is provided solely for members who wish to attend the AGM.
Advance nominations were invited to fill positions on the Executive Committee and for other Club Officers for the 2026/27 season. Attached is a list of nominations received by the closing time and date and which will be dealt with at the AGM.
Reminder about voting at the AGM: our Constitution requires that members attending the meeting and who wish to vote, must be registered for the 2026/27 season.
Further only Active (patrol) members 15 years and over, Reserve Active Members, Long Service Members, Life Members, and Associate Members (including nipper parents) registered for the 2026/27 are eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting.
If you wish to vote at the meeting, please renew your membership including payment of membership fees for 2026/27 through the SLS HUB prior to Friday 24 July.
If you are unable to renew by the on-line process, please contact me within the next two weeks (up to Sunday 5 July) for assistance. If necessary a pre-filled membership form can be supplied which you will then need to complete and return to the Surf Club together with your membership fees for 2026/27.
Please note, facilities will not be available to complete your membership at the Surf Club prior to the Annual General Meeting.
The 2025/26 Club Annual Report and 2025/26 Financial Statements will be available for viewing on the Club website from Wednesday 22 July 2026, to allow members attending the AGM the opportunity of perusing these documents before the meeting. A further email with a link to the Club website will be sent prior to 22 July.
